Ingredients For farfalle bolognese

  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/2 lb
    ground veal
  • 1
    carrot, diced
  • 1
    celery stalk, diced
  • 1 sm
    onion, diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lg
    can, crushed tomatoes
  • 1 c
    red wine
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • 1 box
    farfalle ( bowtie pasta)
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese

How To Make farfalle bolognese

    Boil Pasta according to box ( al dente,firm to taste)

    In a large skillet, saute carrots, celery and onions in the olive oil about 5 mins.

    add in the meats and brown.

    add the can of crushed tomatoes and the red wine.

    add salt and pepper to taste and simmer for at least 1 hour.

    gently stir in the Farfalle, sprinkle the parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley....Delicious
