Ingredients For creamy white clam sauce

1 lb. box linguine

1 mdonion, chopped

1/4 cbutter, cubed

2 Tbspavocado or other oil

1rounded tsp. garlic powder (or to taste)

3 Tbspflour

114.5 oz. can chicken broth

1 cclaim juice
-
1/2 cheavy cream
-
1/2 tspdried oregano
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1/8 tspblack pepper
-
1/8 tspcayenne pepper

2/3 cparmesan cheese
-
2 or 36.5 oz. cans minced clams (depending on how much you like clams)
How To Make creamy white clam sauce

1Heat oil and butter in a skillet. Saute onions and clams, adding the garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Cook onions until tender.

2Add the flour and mix well, heating the flour for about 30 seconds to get rid of its taste. Pour in chicken broth, clam juice, and cream. Bring to a simmer and add Parmesan cheese. Simmer and stir until cheese is melted.

3Served over cooked pasta. (Make sure to salt the cooking water for the pasta well.)
