Ingredients For cheeseburger macaroni

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 12 oz
    macaroni, elbow
  • 2 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 can
    tomato paste-15oz.
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 6 oz
    chopped deli american cheese
  • 1/2 c
    chopped dill pickles
  • salt and pepper

How To Make cheeseburger macaroni

  • 1
    Cook beef and 1/2 cup onion in a 12" skillet over medium high heat until beef is no longer pink, about 7 minutes.

    Add macaroni, broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, mustard, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper and bring to a boil.

    Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender, 8-10 minutes.Stir in the cheese, pickles., and remaining 1/2 cup of onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
