beefy sour cream noodle bake
I found this recipe a long time ago online and it reminds me of a goulash I have made for years, though I haven't tried it yet. This dish is satisfying, easy and inexpensive. Photo: Recipes.com 03-04-15

1 lbground beef

1 can(15 oz.) tomato sauce

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1/4 tspseasoned salt

1/2 tspgarlic powder

8 ozegg noodles
-
1/2 csour cream
-
1-1/4 csmall curd cottage cheese

1/2 cgreen onions, sliced
-
1/2 tspgarlic salt
-
freshly ground black pepper
-
1 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese
How To Make beefy sour cream noodle bake

1In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, salt, pepper, seasoned salt and garlic powder. Simmer on low until ready to combine in casserole.

2Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain. In a large bowl, combine sour cream, cottage cheese, green onions, garlic salt and pepper. Add cooked noodles and combine.

3In a greased 13x9" baking dish, assemble in layers: 1/2 of noodle mixture, 1/2 of meat mixture, 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar; repeat all three layers.

4Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 25 minutes until cheese is melted and heated through.
