I don't remember where I found this recipe but if you have never tried white chili all I can say is Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner

Ingredients For reverse chili

  • 1 lb
    boneless chicken breast cut into cubes. for variety use 1/2 lb. chicken and 1/2 lb italian sweet sausage
  • 1 md
    onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 2 can
    (15-1/2 oz. each) great northern beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can
    (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth
  • 2 can
    (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne
  • 1 c
    (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream

How To Make reverse chili

    In a large saucepan, saute the chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add the beans, broth, chilies and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes

    Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream and cream.
