Ingredients For zesty sunday meatloaf

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/4 bottle
    heinz 57 sauce for topping
  • 1 1/4 c
    shredded parmesean cheese, divided
  • 1 c
    herb stuffing (left over from the holidays)
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    espresso powder, instant
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp
    parsley
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 2 stalk
    celery with leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    milk

How To Make zesty sunday meatloaf

    Preheat oven @ 325 degrees, mix all dry ingredients together with the exception of 1/4 cup of the parmesan cheese
  • 2
    Wisk egg & milk, pour into mixture
  • 3
    Continue to work to a moist consistency
  • 4
    Place into ungreased loaf pan, topping with Heinz 57 Sauce.

    Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, sprinkling balance of parmesan cheese on in the last 15 minutes of baking.

    Remove from oven; slice, & enjoy
