Ingredients For salmon steaks in cider

4salmon steaks

2 Tbspsoft butter
-
3-4 sprigfresh terragon, dill or thyme

1lemon, thinly sliced
-
1/2 capple cider
-
mayonnaise or hollandaise
How To Make salmon steaks in cider

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter a shallow casserole dish with a tight-fitting lid (or use foil to make a tight seal).

2Place salmon steaks in casserole dish and spread with butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Place a sprig of herb on top of each steak and cover with 2 slices of lemon.

3Heat cider and pour into the bottom of the casserole dish; cover tightly. Bake about 25 to 30 minutes until the salmon flakes easily. Serve with pan juices and either mayonnaise or Hollandaise sauce.
