Ingredients For salmon patties

3 cansalmon (6 oz)

1 cpanko bread crumbs

2eggs beaten
-
3 Tbspheaping mayonnaise

1 1/2 tspworcestershire sauce

1 1/2 tspfresh lemon juice
-
1 tspdry mustard
-
2 Tbspvegetable oil
-
2 pinchemeril's essence (recipe below)

5shakes of dill
-
salt and pepper to taste

2 Tbspfresh basil chopped
How To Make salmon patties

1Mix all ingredients together except the vegetable oil. Taste and adjust seasoning accordingly to your preference. Chill for 30 minutes in refrigerator to allow flavors to combine.

2Form mixture into about 6 patties. Heat vegetable oil and fry the salmon patties until golden brown. About 4 minutes each side. As a note, I have used cooked salmon in lieu of canned salmon and it came out great! Make your own tartar sauce or garlic aoli and serve away!

3Emeril's Essence Recipe from Food Network: Ingredients 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika 2 tablespoons salt 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 tablespoon black pepper 1 tablespoon onion powder 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 tablespoon dried thyme Directions Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Put in a jar and use it for many things!
