Would you like to eat like the president? Well, now you can! I can't take credit for this recipe. I saw it on tv, and it is Art Smith's recipe. Please note: You might want to half the recipe because it calls for 2 1/2 lbs. of salmon.

for the glaze:

1 Tbspbrown sugar

2 tspbutter, unsalted

1 tsphoney

1 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1 Tbspdijon mustard

1 Tbspreduced sodium soy sauce

1 Tbspgrated fresh ginger

1 tspsesame seeds

1- 2 1/2 lbi salmon fillet, skin on, pin bones removed

salt and pepper
How To Make president obama's favorite glazed salmon

1Method to prepare the glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat the brown sugar, butter and honey, stirring until melted. Remove from the heat, and whisk in the oil, mustard, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame seeds. Cool 5 minutes.

2To prepare the salmon: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Place the salmon in a large foil lined baking pan and season with salt and pepper. Spoon the glaze over the salmon. Bake, uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

3Assembly: Place the salmon on a serving platter and serve hot or at room temperature.
