Ingredients For curry in a hurry shrimp!

  • 1/2 lb
    uncooked shrimp(shelled)
  • 1 sm
    sweet onion(chopped)
  • 1 stalk
    celery (chopped)
  • 2-3 clove
    garlic (chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp
    hot curry paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    regular curry powder
  • 4 Tbsp
    dry sherry
  • 3/4 can
    coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 1/4 c
    chicken broth
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    water chestnuts
  • cilantro, fresh
  • lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce

How To Make curry in a hurry shrimp!

    Shell ,and clean shrimp,set aside. In 2 tablespoons of olive oil, warm, the curries, for a few seconds then add onions, celery,garlic, cook until soft.

    Turn heat up, add sherry,stir, then turn heat to med.,add,chicken stock,and coconut milk,soy sauce. Now is the time I add any vegetable I want.Peas are great here,bokchoy, your water chestnuts. Add your shrimp,cover, 5 min. they should be done.

    I like to serve this over fragrant Jasmine rice. Sprinkle with the cilantro, and lime juice.
