tammy's fried rice
Fried rice is so easy to make and can be made using any kind of meat. I normally use chicken, ham or beef, but this recipe calls for shrimp and chicken. Again I stress that if you are allergic to shellfish, use caution and rubber gloves to make this.

Ingredients For tammy's fried rice

3 Tbspcanola oil

1 mdonion, chopped

2 clovegarlic, minced

1 lbchicken tenders, skinless, diced

1 lbmedium shrimp, tails removed and cleaned

1 ccarrots, shredded

1 box(10-oz) frozen petite english peas

3 Tbspsoy sauce

2 crice, uncooked

1egg, scrambled
How To Make tammy's fried rice

1In a skillet, add canola oil and saute onion and garlic for 3 minutes. Add chicken to the skillet; cook for an additional 5 minutes and then add shrimp; cook for 3 minutes.

2In skillet, add shredded carrots, peas and soy sauce; let simmer for 5 minutes.

3Cook rice according to package, add to mixture, and cook until heated through. Scramble egg, chop and add to mixture. Serve with egg rolls.
