This is the way I like to make my sweet and sour pork..It is quick and easy and my family just loves it..I hope you enjoy it too! I use my electric skillet but you can use any large skillet.Also this recipe can easily be used with baked crispy fish sticks, chicken nugets, beef bites and pork. Photo internet.

2 Tbspcornstarch, divided

1/4 cgood white wine or chicken broth
-
1 lbpork loin, cut to bite size pieces

1/4 cgranulated sugar
-
1/3 cwater
-
1/4 cseasoned wine vinegar
-
3 Tbspsoy sauce
-
3 Tbspketchup
-
1/4 tspdry mustard
-
1 Tbspvegetable oil
-
1/2 cunsalted cashews
-
1/2 cchopped onions
-
2 clovegarlic,minced
-
8-10 smsnow peas, cut in 1/2 or leave whole
-
1 cchopped all colors bell peppers
-
8 ozcan pineapple chunks, drained

6 chot cooked rice
How To Make sweet and sour pork by pat duran

1In a large bowl, combine 1 Tablespoon of the cornstarch and white wine,stirring until smooth; add the pork and toss to coat.

2In another bowl, combine the sugar and remaining Tablespoon of cornstarch. Stir in the water, vinegar,soy sauce and ketchup until smooth; set aside.

3In a large skillet or wok, stir-fry the pork in hot oil until no longer pink. Add the cashews, onions,ground mustard and garlic; stir fry for about a minute. Add peas and peppers and pineapple; stir fry 3 minutes or until all are crispy tender. Stir in cornstarch mixture and add to pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for about a minute or until sauce is thickened. Serve over rice.
