I had to share this super simple sausage and peppers recipe, inspired and created by my bestie. She whips this up all the time, and it's delicious. Packed with protein and fairly healthy, you too will love making this dish a quick dinner for yourself, or for the family.

Ingredients For super simple sausage, peppers and onion recipe

4sausage links, sliced on the diagonal (flavor choice is up to you. i love aidells spinach and feta or chicken and apple)

1 mdred bell pepper, sliced

1 mdorange or yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 mdonion, sliced

2 Tbspcoconut oil (or bacon grease)

2 ckale, shredded (optional)
How To Make super simple sausage, peppers and onion recipe

1In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Saute the peppers and onions for about 8 minutes.

2If adding kale, add now, and saute for a few more minutes with the peppers until slightly wilted.

3Add the sausage and heat through for about another 3-5 minutes, tossing consistently.

4Remove from heat, and serve! It's that easy.
