We can see why friends and family request this stuffed chicken ... it's delicious! The chicken stays super moist while the cheesy cream cheese stuffing is ooey gooey good. Bacon and green onions on top add an extra pop of flavor.

Ingredients For stuffed chicken breast

  • 4-6
    chicken breasts
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheese
  • 4 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 c
    chopped green onions
  • 1 c
    shredded cheese

How To Make stuffed chicken breast

  • Cream cheese, garlic, chili powder, and shredded cheese in a bowl.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix cream cheese, garlic, chili powder, and 1/2 cup shredded cheese.
  • Butterflied chicken stuffed with cream cheese filling.

    Butterfly breasts and stuff pockets. Put in a baking dish, cover, and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Bacon, green onions, and more cheese sprinkled over the chicken breasts.

    Cook up bacon for 5 minutes before serving. Cover chicken with remaining cheese, green onions, and bacon bits before serving. *HINT* Directly out of the oven, I add the cheese, bacon, and onions (in that order) on top of the chicken, put the lid back on, and wait 5 minutes to melt the cheese before dishing and serving.
