Ingredients For oven-fried parmesan chicken

    egg, ligthly beaten
  • 3 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 - 2 1/2 lb
    chicken breast halves, thighs and/or drumsticks
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine, melted

How To Make oven-fried parmesan chicken

    Preheat oven to 375. In a small bowl combine egg and milk. In a shallow dish combine parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, oregano, paprika and pepper.

    Dip chicken into egg mixture; coat with crumbs. Arrange chicken in a greased large shallow baking pan, making sure pieces don't touch. Drizzle chicken with melted butter.

    Bake for 45-55 minutes or until chicken is tender an no longer pink. Do not turn chicken during baking. If desired, garnish with fresh oregano.
