Ingredients For mustard baked chicken

8chicken pieces. breast or legs about 4 ounces each

4 Tbspbutter, melted

4 Tbspdijon mustard
-
3 Tbsplemon juice, fresh

2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
1 tsppaprika
-
3 Tbsppoppy seeds
-
14 ozsmall pasta shells
-
3 clovemashed garlic
-
1 cfrozen or fresh peas

1 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make mustard baked chicken

1Arrange chicken pieces in single layer in ovenproof casserole dish.. Mix the mustard, sugar, lemon juice, paprika, garlic and salt and pepper, brush half the mixture over chicken and bake in 375F oven for 30 minutes.

2Remove the dish from oven and turn the chicken pieces over and brush with remaining mustard mix,,return to oven and add the peas and bake for another 15 minutes.

3While the last stage of the chicken is cooking, cook the pasta according to pkg directions.. drain, remove chicken from oven and mix in the poppy seeds..pour over cooked pasta annd serve with a crusty garlic bun.
