Ingredients For korean style sweet and hot chicken wings

  • 12
    chicken wings separated at joints tips discarded
  • salt
  • 1/4 c
    sweet soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    blue agave
  • 1/4 c
    shaohsing wine or sherry
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger grated and minced
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    annie chuns korean sweet and spicy sauce
  • oil for frying
  • 1/4 c
    fresh cilantro minced

How To Make korean style sweet and hot chicken wings

  • 1
    Sprinkle the wings with salt and deep fry in oil at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes working in small batches. You could also bake them at 350 degree for 1 hour.

    Mix all the remaining ingredients together in sauce pan and cook until warmed and thickened. Pour over cooked wings
  • 3
    Garnish with cilantro
