honey orange chicken
I obtained this recipe years ago from a neighbor's sweet aunt who was visiting their family. This dish is easy to make and the flavors are quite delicious. I usually serve it with a salad and herb grilled potatoes. Thanks Maxine!

Ingredients For honey orange chicken

6boneless, skinless chicken breast filets

1 corange juice

salt to taste

pepper to taste

bread crumbs

1/2 cbutter, melted

1/2 choney
-
1/2 cwhite wine
How To Make honey orange chicken

1Marinate chicken breasts in the orange juice, 10 - 15 minutes.

2Add salt and pepper to bread crumbs. Coat chicken with bread crumbs.

3Arrange coated chicken in a shallow casserole dish or baking pan in a single layer. I use a 13 x 9 pan. Put chicken breasts in oven and bake 40 minutes at 325 degrees, starting with a cold oven.

4Combine melted butter, honey, and wine. Remove chicken from oven and pour the honey mixture over the chicken. Return dish to oven and cook an additional 30 minutes.
