This is an old recipe - one of which I relied on in my early bachelor days. I would invite a date to my home for dinner. They were probably expecting frozen pizza or oatmeal and were pleasantly surprised. Easy and delicious recipe.

4half chicken breasts

4 sliceham (i like black forest ham)

4 slicecheese (swiss guyere is best)

2 Tbspbutter

1 cancream of chicken soup

1/4 cmilk

1 bunchchopped parsley
How To Make easy chicken cordon bleu

1Flatten the chicken breasts (between sheets of wax paper or clear wrap) with the flat side of a knife or with a bottle.

2Top each breast with the cheese and then the ham. Secure with toothpicks.

3In Skillet, brown chicken in the butter (chicken side down) for approximately 10 minutes.

4Stir in soup and the milk. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.

5Plate and top with the chopped parsley.
