Oh my GOSH...this stuff is GOOD!

I modified Loretta Hall's recipe for Baked Chicken and Gravy for use in my crockpot. This is her original recipe.

method Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients For crockpot chicken and gravy

  • 6
    chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 lg
    can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup (reg.size)
  • 16 oz
    sour cream

How To Make crockpot chicken and gravy

  • 1
    Place frozen chicken in crock pot and season how you like it.

    Cook on High setting 2 hours (ish) ..till chicken is cooked through but not falling apart.

    Remove chicken.
    Add cream of chicken soup with the sour cream to broth in crock pot.

    Return chicken to crockpot and bury in the gravy.

    Finish cooking...at least another hour.
    Gravy should be hot and chicken cooked through.

    Serve with Tracy's Parslied Rice
