crispy taco wings

Another great recipe I wanted to share with the Superbowl a few days away...they are also family tested & approved...these wings are baked, not fried, if watching your figure... I use the hot taco seasoning, gives them just the right amount of kick! Yum! Picture and recipe from my Taste of Home October/November 2010 magazine.

Ingredients For crispy taco wings

  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning - i use hot
  • 2 1/2 lb
    chicken wingettes and drummettes
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 3/4 c
    crushed, corn chips

How To Make crispy taco wings

    In a large shallow bowl, combine flour and taco seasoning. Add wings, a few at a time, and coat. Place butter and corn chips in separate shallow bowls. Dip wings in butter, then coat with chips. Transfer to a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until juices run clear.
