Ingredients For crispy garlic corn flake breaded baked chicken

  • 1 lg
    egg beaten
  • 1 c
    buttermilk, make it with 1 cup milk added 1 tsp vinegar, stir and set 5 minutes
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • salt dash
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 lg
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    finely crushed corn flake cereal

How To Make crispy garlic corn flake breaded baked chicken

    Directions Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Wash Chicken breasts and if thick slice through to cut into thinner breasts Place chicken in egg, milk,and garlic powder let sit for 2-4 hours

    Place the flour in small bowl, season with salt and pepper. Add the crushed cereal to a medium-sized bowl. Dip the chicken pieces in the flour, then the back in milk mixture, then coat with the cereal. Place the coated chicken on a baking rack that was sprayed with a Pam type spray on the baking sheet.

    Bake 20-30 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink. Serve. Remove from oven and serve with your favorite dipping sauce or gravy and mashed potatoes and your selection of vegetables Enjoy
