I love to serve this with buttered spaetzle and I sometimes add a sprinkle of paprika on top before baking.

Ingredients For crispy baked chicken

  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    Adobo powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    paprika, sweet mild
  • 1 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1 md
    lemon, juiced
  • 1
    chicken, cut up
  • 2 Tbsp
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1 stick
    unsalted butter, melted

How To Make crispy baked chicken

    Mix eggs with seasonings and lemon juice.

    Add chicken and turn to coat. Let rest in the refrigerator for 15 mins.

    Mix flour and bread crumbs on a plate.

    Coat chicken with bread crumb mixture.

    When done place it back in the fridge to firm up while the oven preheats to 350 degrees. I use a rack with a baking sheet beneath.

    Coat a baking pan with half of the butter.

    Add the chicken.

    Pour the remaining butter over the chicken.
