This crispy baked chicken is a comforting and hearty dish. It can be served with buttered spaetzle for a delicious cold-weather dinner as Patricia suggests. Or, serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite veggies. The chicken pieces have a golden brown, toasty, and crispy exterior once baked. Seasoning with Adobo powder, paprika, and poultry seasoning adds a nice flavor. Baking in butter adds even more flavor and richness. This is made with a cut-up chicken, but boneless chicken breasts or chicken thighs can be substituted too.

Ingredients For crispy baked chicken

1 TbspAdobo powder

1 Tbsppaprika, sweet mild

1 tsppoultry seasoning

1 mdlemon, juiced

1chicken, cut up

2 Tbspall-purpose flour

1 cbread crumbs
-
1 stickunsalted butter, melted
How To Make crispy baked chicken

1Mix eggs with seasonings and lemon juice.

2Add chicken and turn to coat. Let rest in the refrigerator for 15 mins.

3Mix flour and bread crumbs on a plate.

4Coat chicken with bread crumb mixture.

5When done place it back in the fridge to firm up while the oven preheats to 350 degrees. I use a rack with a baking sheet beneath.

6Coat a baking pan with half of the butter.

7Add the chicken.

8Pour the remaining butter over the chicken.

9Bake for 45-60 minutes until juices run clear.
