Much easier than frying chicken. I've been making it this way for quite a while and everyone in the family seems to love it! Or they're lying to me so I don't quit cooking lol!

Ingredients For crisp coated baked chicken

6-8chicken breasts (or leg quarters)

1egg

1 cinstant mashed potatoes

dashgarlic powder

1/4 cbutter

2 Tbspmilk
How To Make crisp coated baked chicken

1Wash chicken and pat dry.

2Beat egg and milk in a bowl.

3Mix flakes and garlic powder in another bowl.

4Melt butter in shallow baking pan (I use 9 x 13).

5Roll chicken in egg mixture, then potato mixture.

6Roll coated chicken in butter. Place skin side up in pan, bake at 400 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
