Ingredients For chicken stew

8pieces of chicken u like (i used 2 bone in n skinless breasts cut in half n four thighs also skinless)

8 ozmushrooms, quarterd

1 bunchscallions, sliced. white n green parts seperatd
-
1 1/2 cchicken broth
-
3 Tbspbutter, divided 2 + 1

5 Tbspflour
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspblk pepper
-
2 tsppaprika
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
2 tspfresh thyme, chopd
-
a squeeze or two of sirachi (optional)

1/2 cplain yogurt
How To Make chicken stew

1IN A LARGE BOWL MIX FLOUR, GARLIC POWDER, PAPRIKA, SALT N BLK PEPPER. COAT THE CHICKEN PIECES IN THIS FLOUR MIXTURE.

2IN A LARGE PAN OVER MED HEAT MELT 2 TBLSPNS OF BUTTER THEN ADD CHICKEN N BROWN ON BOTH SIDES, ABOUT TEN MINUTES....TURNN OCCASIONALLY.

3REMOVE CHICKEN TO PLATE N LET SIT. ADD 1 TBLSPN BUTTER, MUSHROOMS AND WHITE PARTS OF SCALLIONS STIR N COOK UNTIL TENDER.

4ADD CHOPD THYME, CHICKEN BROTH N SIRACHI (if using) N BRING TO A BOIL...REDUCE TO A SIMMER.

5ADD CHICKEN BACK INTO PAN, COVER N SIMMER FOR 25 MINUTES....TURN 1/2 WAY THRU.

6STIR IN YOGURT N GREEN PARTS OF SCALLIONS...TASTE N SEASON WITH S n P IF NEEDED

7SERVE OVER RICE N......ENJOY :)
