I saw a Pad Thai recipe on The Food Network and ran out to get all the ingredients, only to look at the ratings on the recipe and see it was not going to be good. So I decided to use my instincts and re-create it but better and it worked. This is so delicious, if you like pad thai, you've got to give this one a try.

Ingredients For chicken pad thai

  • 4 oz
    rice noodles
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 2
    chicken breasts, flattened and sliced thinly
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg
  • 1
    carrot, shredded
  • 1 sm
    broccoli head, cut into florets
  • 6 oz
    bean sprouts, fresh
  • 8-10
    chives, chopped (fresh)
  • 1/4 c
    peanuts, chopped or crushed
  • 3 tsp
    cornstarch
  • SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 3 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    chili garlic sauce
