Ingredients For chicken fried chicken & gravy

2 lgchicken breast pounded to 1/2 inch thick

2/3 cflour

1 tspeach salt and garlic powder

1/2 tsppepper

4 Tbspgrated parmesan cheese

1 cpanko bread crumbs

1/2 cbuttermilk
-
1 lgegg
-
canola or vegetable oil for frying

1 mdonion sliced

3 clovegarlic minced

1/2 cdry white wine
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
3 Tbspflour
-
1 cheavy cream
-
3/4 cchicken stock
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make chicken fried chicken & gravy

1Pound out chicken breast.

2Mix flour, salt, garlic powder and pepper in one dish. Place egg in another dish and beat it. Mix panko bread crumbs and pamesan cheese in a third dish

3Dredge chicken in flour mixture then egg then panko. Fry in hot oil on stove until deep brown on both sides. Remove from pan and place in baking pan and put in 400 degree oven while making gravy.

4Add onion and garlic to oil in frying pan and cook until onions are caramelized. Deglaze the pan with the wine and let almost all evaporate off. Add butter to pan with flour and make a roux.

5Slowly add cream and chicken stock. Cook until thickened and season with salt and pepper to taste.

6Remove chicken breast from oven and make sure it is not pink inside. Serve with gravy.
