Saw this recipe on back of a Stove Top dressing box and added a few ingredients of my own..my family loved it. Will make again..

Ingredients For chicken and dressing casserole

14 ozcan petite diced tomatoes , undrained

6 ozpkg. of stove top dressing for chicken

2 Tbspgarlic paste,divided

3/4 cchicken broth or water
-
1 lgear of roasted corn on cob,kernels cut off and cob scraped

2boneless,skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
-
1 Tbspdried basil leaves
-
1 1/4 cshredded colby jack cheese
How To Make chicken and dressing casserole

1Heat oven to 400^. Spray a 3 quart casserole dish with butter spray..set aside.

2In a medium bowl mix stuffing mix, tomatoes, broth and 1 Tablespoon garlic paste just until stuffing is moistened.

3In another bowl combine raw chicken pieces, basil, corn and cheese, mix well. Add chicken mixture to the prepared casserole dish.

4Top with stuffing mixture. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and stir just the stuffing mixture to get more topping to brown and get that delicious crunch. Turn oven to 350^ and bake for 10 minutes more or until chicken is done.
