- BRINE

2/3 csalt

2/3 cbourbon (i use jack daniels)

1/2 cmolasses
-
8 cwater
-
2 tspminced garlic
-
2 tspcrazy chicken blend from "the spice and tea exchange"

2 tspbrown mustard
-
1 cpineapple chunks, fresh

1 tsppepper
-
8-9chicken pieces, bone in

1 bottlekc masterpiece bourbon bbq sauce
How To Make bourbon molasses bbq chicken.

1Put salt, bourbon, molasses and water in large saucepan. Heat on medium low heat until salt melts. Add remaining brine ingredients except chicken. Heat through and cool completely.

2Put chicken in a gallon bag. Add two cups of ice. Add cooled brine and refrigerate overnight.

3Remove chicken from brine and dry it off.

4Place chicken on grill and baste with BBQ sauce each time you turn the chicken. I usually turn every 7-8 minutes. Should be done in 35-40 minutes.
