Someone gave my husband a head of cabbage and unless I am making soup I did not know what to do with it! This is what I came up with! My husband loved it so much I had to make it again to use up the other half of cabbage.

Ingredients For beef and cabbage stir fry

2 Tbspcooking oil

4 clovegarlic

1 smonion diced

1/2 to 1 lbthinly shredded beef (can used cubed beef or cubed chicked)

1/2 smsmall head cabbage shredded

2 lg1 red and 1 green bell pepper, cut into strips

2 Tbspsoy sauce
-
1 tspcorn startch
-
1/2 cwater
-
1 pkgbeef bouillon (or chicken if that is the meat used)

1 tspground black pepper
How To Make beef and cabbage stir fry

1Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, and add oil. Saute garlic and onion for about 5 seconds, then add beef (or chicken). Stir-fry until beef is evenly brown. Stir in cabbage and pepper, and cook until vegetables are tender, and beef is fully cooked.

2Mix together cornstarch, soy sauce, water, and bouillon. Add and stir into beef and cabbage. Season with pepper. Cook, stirring, until sauce has thickened.

3Serve over cooked White Rice
