Ingredients For asian chicken "spareribs"

1 Tbspcanola oil

2 lbboneless, skinless chicken thighs

3/4 cplus 1 tbsp water

1/4 clight soy sauce

1/3 clight brown sugar

3 Tbspketchup
-
2 Tbspapple cider vinegar

1 tspminced garlic
-
1/4 tspground ginger

1 Tbspcornstarch

cooked white rice
How To Make asian chicken "spareribs"

1In lg skillet, over meg-high heat, heat oil until hot. Add chicken and brown on all sides. In bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup water, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, garlic and ginger.

2Stir sauce into skillet. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 mins, turning chicken over occasionally. In small bowl whisk together remaining water and cornstarch. Stir into chicken and sauce.

3Cook until thickened. Serve over hot rice.
