Blue Ribbon Recipe
This taco casserole is easy on the budget and easy to make. The bottom is like a crunchy taco with all your favorite taco ingredients on top. Refried beans, taco seasoning, and salsa are added to the browned ground beef and spread on top of the crushed tortilla chips. Then, it's sprinkled with cheese, green onions, and chopped tomatoes. After being baked, the cheese is nice and gooey. Shredded lettuce is then sprinkled on top. We also topped ours with taco sauce and a touch of sour cream, but it's just as delicious the way it's made.
