One day I wanted a quick throw-together supper that wouldn't dirty up every dish in the house. Therefore, I selected yummy ingredients, and I cooked it all in one deep skillet. My husband raved about it, and he insisted that I write down the recipe before I forgot it.

How To Make special one dish pasta

  • 1
Brown the ground beef in the olive oil, preferably in a nonstick skillet.
  • 2
As the meat becomes brown, add the chopped onion.
  • 3
Then, add the garlic when the onion becomes translucent.
  • 4
Stir in the can or jar of prepared spaghetti sauce. Fill 1/2 the jar/can with water, and add to the sauce.
  • 5
Add the can of diced tomatoes, including the juice.
  • 6
Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  • 7
Break the angel hair pasta into 3-4” pieces. Stir the pasta into the sauce.
  • 8
Bring the pasta/sauce mixture to a boil, then simmer, covered, for ten minutes. Stir occasionally, and add more water if needed.
  • 9
Test the pasta. If it is done, then stir in the sour cream.
  • 10
Cover the pan once again, and let it sit 5 minutes for the flavors to meld together in the dish.
  • 11
Serve portions in pasta bowls. Top each serving with grated cheese.
