This is an absolute favorite in our house. My husband requests this all the time. Never any leftovers unless I make two and the leftovers are fantastic too! I usually have to double the sauerkraut and dressing because we love sauerkraut so much.

Ingredients For reuben casserole

14 ozsauerkraut, canned, rinsed and well drained

1 cthousand island dressing

16 ozcorned beef, chopped

8 ozswiss cheese, shredded

6 slicerye bread

1 stickbutter or margarine, softened
How To Make reuben casserole

1Mix sauerkraut and dressing in small bowl. Spread into a greased 13x9x2 baking pan. Top with meat and cheese.

2Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place on top, butter side up.

3Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Place under broiler if you want the bread to be browned more.
