This is a family favorite and is easy to make. I usually serve this with a green salad.

Ingredients For pizza pot pie

2 lbground italian sausage

2 can(6 oz) tomato paste

2-3 tsporegano leaves

2-3 tspbasil leaves

4 ozmushroom pieces and stems, drained or 8 ozs sliced fresh mushrooms

1 lbshredded mozzarella cheese
-
1/2 cgrated parmeasan cheese

1/4 cchopped fresh parsley
-
1 can(10 oz) refrigerated all ready pizza crust

1egg beaten
-
1 Tbspparmesan cheese
How To Make pizza pot pie

1Heat oven to 375. In large skillet, brown sausage; drain well. Stir in tomato paste, oregano and basil.

2Spoon evenly into ungreased 13x9 inch pan. Top with mushrooms.

3In medium bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and parsley. Spoon over sausage and mushroom mixture. Unroll pizza crust; press or roll to 13x9 inch rectangle. Place crust over cheese mixture; seal edges. With sharp knife, cut 1 inch slit in top of crust. Brush with egg; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese.

4Bake for 30-40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
