Came up with this recipe by adding things that sounded good. Named it because before the adventure started the Hobbits were looking for veggies and got so excited when they found the mushrooms. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Ingredients For hobbit stew

2 lbstew meat

1white onion cut into rings

1 pkgsliced portabellas

1 pkgbetty crocker'scallop potatoes

1/2-3/4 cburgundy wine
How To Make hobbit stew

1Season the meat and brown in the olive oil and wine. Add the onions and mushrooms and cook until translucent.

2Place in the crockpot by layers; meat mixture, potatoes and so on.

3Prepare the cheese sauce from the potatoes as directed. Pour into the crockpot. Cook on high for an hour then on low for 5-7 hours until potatoes are done
