This recipe came from my mother-in-law, it's one of ,y husband's favorites. She always says's it's a great use of leftover mashed potatoes. Hah! We never have leftover mashed potatoes!

Ingredients For hamburger pot pie

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can
    tomato soup
  • 1 can
    peas, drained (i use frozen pras)
  • 2 c
    mashed potatoes (you can use instant in a pinch, i often use garlic mashed potatoes)
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce

How To Make hamburger pot pie

  • 1
    Brown ground beef and onion, drain
  • 2
    Add worcestershire sauce and UNDILUTED tomato soup
  • 3
    Add peas (drain if you're using canned)
  • 4
    Place into greased casserole dish
  • 5
    Top with mashed potatoes
  • 6
    Bake in 350 degree oven for about a half hour, until potatoes start to brown
