My grandmother served this dish almost every Friday, since Catholics could not eat meat back then and most of us did not like fish. It was many years before I could eat this dish - now I love it again.

3/4 lbelbow macaroni, cooked

12 ozsharp cheddar cheese, grated

2 tspdry mustard

1small onion, chopped

2 cmilk
-
2 Tbspbutter or margarine
How To Make grandma angelina's baked macaroni & cheese

1Boil elbow macaroni until about half way cooked. In a saucepan combine milk, butter, grated cheddar cheese, dry mustard and onion, heat on medium to low until cheese melts to a saucy consistency.

2In a 13"X9" casserole dish mix macaroni and cheese sauce thoroughly. Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 40 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly. Serve as either main or side dish.
