These are great for cookouts if you are tired of plain old burgers.

Ingredients For mushroom-swiss burgers

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1(4 oz.) can
    mushrooms
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 4 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 4 slice
    swiss cheese
  • 4
    hamburger buns

How To Make mushroom-swiss burgers

  • 1
    Cut mushrooms into very tiny pieces. (I use a food processor)
  • 2
    Mix beef, egg, mushrooms, onion powder, parsley, and Parmesan well.

    Form into 4 equal patties. Grill or fry until done.
  • 4
    Top each with a slice of Swiss cheese and serve on a bun. You can Add mayonnaise, mustard and other garnishes if desired.
