Ingredients For unstuffed cabbage

  • 1-1.5 lb
    ground chuck, cooked
  • 1 sm
    cabbage head
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 1 clove
    garlic
  • 2 : 14.5 oz
    diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 pkg
    concentrated beef stock, optional
  • 0.5 c
    water

How To Make unstuffed cabbage

  • 1
    Brown ground meat with diced onions in oil until may is not pink and onions are tender. Add minced garlic. Cook a minute.

    Add chopped up cabbage and rest of ingredients. Salt and pepper. Bring to boil then reduce to simmer for 20-30 minutes.

    Serve over rice or for a change noodles.
