tex-mex three bean crockpot chili
I make this chili starting in the fall. It is delicious and my family loves it! It is a bit spicy but could be tamed down with a few adjustments.

Ingredients For tex-mex three bean crockpot chili

1 lbground beef or turkey if preferred

2 clovegarlic, minced

3-4 tspchili powder

1/2 tspgound cumin
-
1 canred kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 cangreat northern beans, drained and rinsed

1 canbutter beans, drained and rinsed
-
1 conion, chopped
-
1/2 cgreen pepper, chopped
-
10 ozcan tomatoes with green chilies (mild, reg or hot)

1 cantomatoe juice 12 oz. can add more for desired consistency

6 ozcan tomatoe paste

1/4 tspsalt
-
shredded cheddar cheese
-
sour cream
How To Make tex-mex three bean crockpot chili

1Cook beef or turkey and garlic until brown. Drain. Stir in chili powder and cumin; cook 2 minutes.

2In crock pot combine beans, onion, green pepper. Add undrained tomatoes with green chilies, tomato juice, tomato paste, and salt. Stir in meat.

3Cook low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

4Top with cheese and sour cream if desired.
