I make this chili starting in the fall. It is delicious and my family loves it! It is a bit spicy but could be tamed down with a few adjustments.

Ingredients For tex-mex three bean crockpot chili

  • 1 lb
    ground beef or turkey if preferred
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 3-4 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    gound cumin
  • 1 can
    red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can
    great northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can
    butter beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    green pepper, chopped
  • 10 oz
    can tomatoes with green chilies (mild, reg or hot)
  • 1 can
    tomatoe juice 12 oz. can add more for desired consistency
  • 6 oz
    can tomatoe paste
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • sour cream

How To Make tex-mex three bean crockpot chili

    Cook beef or turkey and garlic until brown. Drain. Stir in chili powder and cumin; cook 2 minutes.

    In crock pot combine beans, onion, green pepper. Add undrained tomatoes with green chilies, tomato juice, tomato paste, and salt. Stir in meat.

    Cook low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

    Top with cheese and sour cream if desired.
