Ingredients For tasty tex-mex style chili

2 lbground beef

1 lgonion, finely chopped

2 clovegarlic, minced

1 candiced green chilies, undrained

2 can(15 oz) tomato sauce

2 candiced tomatoes, undrained

2diced tomato cans filled with water

1 can(6 oz.) tomato paste

2 candark kidney beans, rinsed

2 canlight kidney beans, rinsed

2 1/2 Tbspchili powder
-
1 1/2 tspcumin
-
1 pinchground red pepper
-
1 Tbspsalt
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
How To Make tasty tex-mex style chili

1In Dutch oven, brown ground beef with onion, chilies and garlic. Drain off excess grease.

2Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend. Bring just to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes.

3Ladle into bowls and garnish with crushed Fritos corn chips or oyster crackers, shredded cheese, sour cream and green onion if desired.
