Ingredients For tasty beef and biscuit bake

1 can(16 ounce )grands biscuits, carefully seperated in half

1 lbground beef
-
1/2 cred or green pepper, diced - or whatever pepper you prefer

3 clovegarlic, minced
-
1onion, chopped
-
1 - 8 oztomato sauce
-
3/4 - 1 Tbspchili powder
-
1 tspgarlic salt
-
1egg
-
1 1/2 - 2 cshredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese, divided

1/2 csour cream
How To Make tasty beef and biscuit bake

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Prepare a 9 inch square baking pan - or ( I used an oval casserole dish) with nonstick spray. Carefully separate the biscuits so you have a top and a bottom.

2Press half of the biscuits on the bottom of baking dish. Set aside.

3In a skillet, brown ground beef, onion, garlic and pepper, until beef is cooked and veggies tender. Drain Stir in tomato sauce, garlic salt and chili powder, simmer for about 5 minutes.

4Meanwhile, in a bowl, add half cheese, sour cream and egg...mix well.

5Remove skillet from heat and stir in sour cream mixture, thoroughly.

6Now spread the ground beef mixture evenly over the biscuits.

7Top with the other halves of biscuits. Sprinkle with remainder of cheese.

8Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Serve with extra cheese, onion, sour cream...or serve as is...enjoy...it sure is tasty.
