What can I say about this recipe? This is some "good stuff". Boneless tender steak mixed with snow peas and onions? A combination that will certainly have your mouth watering just looking at the picture of it. A perfect mixture of ingredients that will have you asking for seconds.....and third helpings.

Ingredients For szechuan beef & snow peas

1/2 lbboneless tender beef steak (sirloin, rib eye or top loin)

2 Tbspcornstarch, divided

3 Tbspkikkoman soy sauce, divided

1 Tbspdry sherry
-
1 clovegarlic, minced
-
3/4 cwater
-
1/4 to 1/2 tspcrushed red pepper

2 Tbspvegetable oil, divided
-
6 ozfresh snow peas, trimmed
-
1 mdonion, chunked
-
salt
-
1 mdtomato, chunked
-
hot cooked rice
How To Make szechuan beef & snow peas

1Slice beef across grain into thin strips. Combine 1 tablespoon each cornstarch and soy sauce with sherry and garlic in small bowl; stir in beef. Let stand 15 minutes.

2Meanwhile, combine water, remaining 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 2 tablespoons soy sauce and red pepper; set aside.

3Heat 1 tablespoon oil in hot wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry 1 minute; remove. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in same pan. Add snow peas and onion; lightly sprinkle with salt and stir-fry 3 minutes.

4Add beef, soy sauce mixture and tomato. Cook and stir until sauce boils and thickens and tomato is heated through. Serve immediately over hot cooked rice.
