    ground beef
  • 1

  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    bread crumbs seasoned
  • 1 tsp
    oregano
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • salt/pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lg
    tomato sauce, italian seasoned
  • 1/4 c
    red wine

How To Make stuffed cabbage italian style

    gently peel 6 layers of leaves from cabbage head...cut out the hard stem part, place in a large bowl of hot water while you prepare the filling.

    in a bowl, combine beef with rest of the ingredients, except the tomato sauce, olive oil & wine.

    In a large pot pour the entire can of tomato sauce..put on low

    meanwhile take each now soften cabbage leaves...divide the meat filling in six portions and fill each leaf...roll and place in sauce, drizzle with olive oil and red wine....simmer about 30 mins....delicious...serve with rice or pasta
