I had no ingredients to make bbq sauce, so i used chili sauce and it came out so good.

Ingredients For slow-cooked chili sauce pulled pork

  • 2 lb
    boneless pork shoulder roast
  • 1 lg
    onion, sliced into rings
  • 2 Tbsp
    tabasco sauce
  • 1 c
    chili sauce, sold near the ketchup in the coniments aisle
  • 2 c
    root beer soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 6
    hamburger or kaiser rolls

How To Make slow-cooked chili sauce pulled pork

  • 1
    Place meat in a 4-quart slow-cooker. Add onions. Top w/ tabasco sauce, chili sauce, rootbeer and vanilla. Stir to mix.

    Cover, cook on low for 8 hrs, or until meat shreds easily. Shred meat and serve meat w/ sauce on the rolls.
