This recipe came out of necessity! I had intended on making a slow cooked meatloaf dinner and plans changed. Skillet meatloaf worked great! In under 30 minutes I had a yummy dinner - and now I'm sharing it with you. For all those busy folks out there....this one is for you - Enjoy!

Ingredients For skillet meatloaf steaks with tomato gravy

1/2 lbground beef

1/2 cold fashioned oats
-
1/4 smonion, diced
-
1/2 mdbell pepper, diced

1 lgegg
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1 Tbspmccormicks grill mates montreal steak seasoning
- FOR TOMATO GRAVY:

1 cancampbell's tomato soup
-
1/2of the tomato soup can water
-
1 tspbrown sugar
-
1 tspworcestershire sauce
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make skillet meatloaf steaks with tomato gravy

1In a microwave safe bowl heat onions, and bell peppers for 1 minute to soften. Set aside.

2In a mixing bowl add ground beef, egg, oats, the cooked peppers and onions.

3Add worcestershire sauce and montreal steak seasoning.

4Mix well to combine.

5Separate into 4 sections.

6Form into 4 patties. I have one of those nifty burger making gadgets, but hands work just as well.

7Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a medium skillet on medium heat. Add patties and cook until browned - about 5 minutes.

8Turn and cook until browned another 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

9Drain oil from skillet. Add tomato soup, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce for gravy. Stir to combine. Add patties to gravy and turn to coat. Cook on medium low for 10 minutes.

10Prepare your quick sides...go ahead and use some of those convenience taters, or noodles (: This is supposed to be a quick comfort food fix (:
