This is one of the absolute best meatloaves I have ever tasted!

Ingredients For saucy meatloaf

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    quick cooking oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 c
    tomato juice (or pasta sauce)
  • 1
    egg

How To Make saucy meatloaf

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients; Mix well. Pat into greased 9x5 loaf pan;

    Sauce: 6 oz tomato sauce or pasta sauce 3 TBSP. Vinegar (apple cider is what I used) 2 TBSP. Mustard (used yellow mustard) 3 TBSP. brown sugar (packed) 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Stir all ingredients together; Mix well. Pour sauce over meatloaf and Bake at 350* for 1 1/2 hours; Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
