This recipe came from my husband's family. I added an extra pound of ground beef to the recipe, and we just love it! It makes a big pot of chili! This recipe also works well in the crock pot. Just adjust your cooking time.

Ingredients For mr. ed's chili

3 lbground beef, browned and drained

3 can15 oz size, tomato sauce

2 can28 oz size, diced tomatoes, drained

3 canpinto beans, drained

1 lgsweet onion, chopped

6 Tbsp(heaping) chili powder

salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make mr. ed's chili

1Mix above ingredients in a large pot.

2Bring to low boil, reduce to a slow simmer.

3Cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally for approximately 3 hours. Making sure the onion is nice and soft.

4Serve with oyster crackers and shredded cheddar cheese. (shred your own cheese!)
