When I was a kid we use to eat this all the time. My dad was a hunter and we always had ground venison and ground beef around so my mom would come up with unusual ways of using the meat.

1 lbground beef or venison

1 lgonion chopped

3 clovegarlic minced

1 Tbspsalt

1/2 cketchup
-
3 Tbspmustard
-
2 Tbsprelish
-
2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

8 slicecheese of your choice

1pie crust shell
How To Make mom's sloppy joe pie

1Brown the beef, onion, garlic, and salt until meat is done.

2Meanwhile bake pie crust until golden about 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

3Add ketchup, mustard, relish, and worcestershire to meat. Stir well to combine.

4Put 4 slices of cheese in bottom of pie shell. Top with meat mixture. Then add the last 5 slices of cheese.

5Bake in oven another 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
